As you all know I’ve been dealing with a bunch of issues regarding the “pending employee” file. Long story short, over the past few days I’ve spent about 3 hours approving (again) all the DM-Chicopee employees. Well, I just logged in this morning to find out that all that work was for naught…a complete waste of time, since once again 900+ employees are back in the “pending” file.
I really don’t know what to do. The people running this site over at NBC.com are obviously CLUELESS and they are asking OFFICE fans to waste their time on a game that is doing nothing but hurting the brand that is THE OFFICE. Unfortunately there is no one to contact over there that will bother telling people what’s really going on. A very big disappointment all around.
I will keep trying though. Sorry if you’re being jerked around from branch to branch…I wish I could do something about it.

We appreciate all the work youve done for us, even if NBC is clueless on how to run a website like this-Don’t feel pressured by us to apply everyone again, how about you wait until NBC gets this thing under control, we dont want you wasting your time doing this when we’re going to be in “pending” again anyway.

yeah, the dmi site seems to be nothing but gliches. the voting page for the has a pile of non-chicopee logos on it! it seems like now there’s just too much for them to fix. I was really optimistic about this whole thing, but i guess that was all for not.
sorry to hear about all the frustration they’ve put you through kath! i hope for the sake of everyone’s sanity they either fix this or put it to bed. i guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

ok, i just read the bulletin on the dmi site, here’s a little piece:
“We are working on a permanent fix that will remove all outstanding pending applications for all employees already accepted into a branch. Once this is done, the DMI system will handle these re-applications much more effectively.”
there’s more to it then that, but it looks like alot of managers are having this pending employees problems….

Yeah, I’ve been moved to the CA, Upland branch. Website says to wait until tomorrow to reapply to the branch you want.
Very frustrating. As of yesterday I was with Chicopee. Don’t know how I got moved to Upland!
